Privacy Policy for Viscra

Last Updated: 27th November 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Viscra ("we", "our", "us"), a service provided by Viscra Technologies. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you interact with the Viscra Discord bot, the Viscra Dashboard, and our associated in-game Roblox integrations.

As a service created by a British entity, we comply with British laws and regulations where applicable, including but not limited to the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.

2. Information We Collect

We collect data necessary to provide our automation, synchronisation, and moderation services. This data is categorised as follows:

A. Discord Information

  • User Identity: Your Discord User ID, Username, Avatar, and Discriminator.
  • Server Context: The Guilds (servers) you share with the bot, your roles within those servers, and your permissions.
  • Interactions: Content of commands executed, buttons clicked, and modals submitted to Viscra.
  • Support Data: Messages sent within Viscra-created ticket channels and transcripts thereof. (SUPPORT SERVER ONLY)

B. Roblox Information

  • Identity: Your Roblox User ID and Username, obtained securely via Roblox OAuth2 (GameLink) or public API lookups.
  • Group Data: Your membership status and rank within specific Roblox groups associated with servers using Viscra.
  • Assets: Information regarding game passes or badges if required for specific server automations.

C. Service & In-Game Data

  • XP & Progression: Numerical values representing Experience Points (XP), Quota/Event Points (EP) status synced from connected Roblox games.
  • Configuration Data: Server settings, including but not limited to role bindings, logging channels, and promotion requirements.
  • Authentication Keys: Encrypted tokens for "White-Label" bot instances and "Bot Keys" used to authenticate in-game API requests.
  • Moderation Records: Warnings, kick logs, and ban records issued via Viscra commands.

3. How We Use Your Information

The collected information is utilised strictly for the functionality of the Service:

  • Synchronisation: To automatically update your Discord nickname and roles to match your Roblox group rank and username.
  • Progression: To track in-game statistics (XP) and trigger automated promotions or demotions based on server configurations.
  • Access Control: To gate access to specific Discord channels or features based on your verified status.
  • Support & Moderation: To facilitate the ticket system, retain transcripts for server owners, and log moderation actions for accountability.
  • Service Integrity: To prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and analyse bot performance.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure databases. We utilise industry-standard encryption for sensitive credentials.

Access Control: Access to personal data is restricted to the bots owner for support and maintenance purposes only. Server owners cannot access your personal OAuth tokens, but they can view data relevant to their server (e.g., your XP balance or warnings within their server).

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We only share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With our cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., Database and Hosting providers) solely for the purpose of running the application.
  • Platform Compliance: With Discord or Roblox if required to comply with their respective Terms of Service or Trust & Safety requests.
  • Legal Obligations: If required by law to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.

6. Your Rights and Data Management

You retain control over your data within the Viscra ecosystem.

  • Unlinking: You may run the /unverify command in any server running Viscra to unlink your Roblox account. This immediately disassociates your IDs in our database.
  • Data Deletion: Running /unverify will permanently delete your stored XP, Medals, and verification linkage across all servers using Viscra. This action is irreversible.
  • Server Data: If you are a server owner, removing the bot does not immediately purge server configuration. You may contact support to request a full data purge.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and making an announcement in our official support server.
